THE CHAMPIONSHIP
Open to all drivers aged 15 and over, the F4UAE Championship is run in accordance with the FIA guidelines and is inteded as a first step for drivers looking to make the transition from karting into competitive circuit racing.
Young drivers are given the opportunity to show off their talent at the junior level of racing in a category that allows championship points to count towards an FIA Superlicense.
Adhering to the highest standards of safety, while keeping costs at an affordbale level, the F4UAE Championship is the perfect platform for young drivers to have ample track time to hone their skills at internationally recognised circuits.
The F4UAE Championship provided participants with an exciting start to their formula racing careers, and has seen many graduates of the inaugural season progress to other F4 championships within Europe for 2018 with race-winning success.
THE FOCUS
Our aim is to develop the next Formula 1 stars, with our F4 series being in the winter the championship is fast becoming known as the place to send up and coming talent as they make the move from karts to single seaters. Xcel Motorsport (Formerly Energy Dubai) are now taking this a stage further with the training centre which will house Simulators, reaction testing and other apparatus required for driver development. Our team of mechanics, engineers, data engineers and driver/coaches offer drivers the best support team to deliver success.
Xcel Motorsport is highly organised and professional, with a proven track record in preparing race winning cars. We use data and video analysis to perfect both the performance of the car and driver.
In depth data analysis using the AIM Evo 4 data system, coupled with the AIM Smarty Cam for video analysis, allows us to interpret live data with video footage to help us maintain and refine equipment and to continuously learn and improve driver performance.

history & Achievements
Xcel Motorsport recently won the triple crown of titles in the 2019 F4UAE Championship, including the drivers and rookie titles with Italian Matteo Nannini, plus the teams championship. Additionally, Alhabsi also finished third outright in the drivers championship and contributed to the 10 race wins, 4 pole positions and 29 podium finishes achieved, making the 2019 season Xcel Motorsport’s most successful in three years of F4UAE competition.
Having already developed a heavy racing footprint with karting in Europe, the Dubai-based racing team will now take their F4 cars and equipment to Spain in time for the season opener in early April, running Omani frontrunner Shihab Alhabsi as lead driver for the full season.
